Transparent Governance: Blockchain For Public Budgeting Training Course in Burundi

Introduction

As public institutions worldwide face increasing pressure for accountability and efficient resource management, blockchain technology is emerging as a powerful solution. By creating an immutable, distributed ledger, blockchain can revolutionize public budgeting by providing an unprecedented level of transparency and trust. This digital ledger makes it possible to track public funds from allocation to expenditure in real-time, drastically reducing opportunities for fraud, improving audit trails, and restoring public confidence. Adopting this technology enables governments and public sector organizations to build more resilient, accountable, and citizen-centric financial systems that are fit for the future.

This specialized 5-day training course delves into the practical application of blockchain technology to public financial management. Participants will gain a deep understanding of blockchain fundamentals and explore real-world use cases for enhancing budget transparency, procurement, and expenditure tracking. Through a combination of theoretical knowledge and practical frameworks, this course will equip you with the skills to assess blockchain's viability, manage implementation projects, and lead the charge toward a more transparent and trustworthy public sector.
