Governance For Sustainable Development Goals (sdgs)

Introduction: The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), adopted by all United Nations Member States in 2015, provide a global blueprint for achieving a better and more sustainable future for all by 2030. Governance plays a pivotal role in the successful implementation of these goals. Effective governance systems ensure that resources are allocated efficiently, policies are aligned with SDG targets, and stakeholders are engaged in the process. This training course is designed to provide participants with the skills and knowledge necessary to lead and manage governance structures that support the achievement of the SDGs at national, regional, and organizational levels.

It is also ideal for individuals who play a role in governance at local, national, or international levels, including those responsible for coordinating partnerships, resource management, and stakeholder engagement related to sustainable development. Non-governmental organizations (NGOs) and those working in international development programs will find this course beneficial in aligning their initiatives with the SDGs.
