Monitoring And Evaluating Policy And Advocacy Programs

Introduction

Monitoring and evaluation (M&E) are essential for assessing the effectiveness of policy and advocacy programs. These programs often aim to influence public policy, create systemic change, and engage stakeholders at multiple levels. However, evaluating their impact can be complex, as the outcomes are often intangible, long-term, and influenced by numerous external factors. A well-designed M&E system enables policymakers, practitioners, and advocates to track progress, measure the effectiveness of strategies, and demonstrate the value of their work to donors and other stakeholders.

The Monitoring and Evaluating Policy and Advocacy Programs Training Course is designed to equip professionals with the necessary tools and skills to monitor and evaluate policy and advocacy efforts. Participants will gain knowledge on designing effective M&E frameworks, selecting appropriate indicators, and assessing both short- and long-term outcomes, as well as understanding the challenges associated with measuring policy change and advocacy success.
