Participatory Monitoring And Evaluation Seminar

Introduction

Effective project management and planning are only possible when grounded in robust, participatory monitoring and evaluation (PME) systems. The Participatory Monitoring and Evaluation Seminar is designed to empower participants with the essential skills to actively engage communities and stakeholders in evaluating project outcomes. Participatory Monitoring and Evaluation fosters inclusive decision-making processes that help ensure the effectiveness, sustainability, and impact of projects. This Participatory Monitoring and Evaluation course offers an in-depth exploration of the principles, techniques, and tools used in PME, with practical insights into how these methods enhance accountability and transparency. Participants will learn how to utilize Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and Global Positioning Systems (GPS) for mapping and data collection, as well as how to apply qualitative data analysis tools like NVivo. Through a mix of theoretical knowledge and hands-on workshops, this seminar will equip you with the capabilities to create and implement PME frameworks that bring real value to community-driven projects. By the end of this Participatory Monitoring and Evaluation training, participants will have developed the skills to effectively monitor and evaluate projects using participatory methods, ensuring that key stakeholders are involved in the planning and decision-making processes. Elevate your ability to manage programs that are responsive to community needs and demonstrate measurable impact.
