Module 2: Human Factors and VRU Behavior

  • Understanding human perception, reaction time, and decision-making.
  • Analyzing VRU behavior in different road environments (intersections, mid-block crossings, shared spaces).
  • Understanding the impact of age, disability, and cultural factors on VRU behavior.
  • Applying human factors principles to road design and safety countermeasures.

Module 3: Pedestrian Facility Design and Safety

  • Designing safe and accessible pedestrian crossings (signalized, unsignalized, mid-block).

Training Venue

The training will be held at our Skills for Africa Training Institute Training Centre. We also offer training for a group at requested location all over the world.
