Workshop On Behaviour Change Communication For Health Promotion

INTRODUCTION

Investing significant resources annually to modify human behavior is a common practice, but not all intervention strategies yield the desired results. Research underscores that the most successful interventions are those rooted in a thorough understanding of the targeted health behaviors and the specific environmental context in which they occur. Behaviour Change Communication (BCC) has emerged as a powerful tool in various health promotion programs, effectively improving the well-being of target populations. BCC is a systematic, well-planned process that motivates individuals to adopt and sustain health-promoting behaviors and lifestyles. We offer a five-day intensive training designed to enhance the capabilities of service providers, planners, and decision-makers involved in health-oriented programs. This workshop on Behaviour Change Communication for Health Promotion will equip participants with the skills to develop responsive BCC programs that contribute to achieving SDG 3: ensuring healthy lives and promoting well-being for all ages.
