Traditional M&E approaches often focus on average results, inadvertently masking the very disparities that development and humanitarian projects aim to address. This training course is designed to empower M&E and social development professionals with the specialized skills needed to monitor exclusion, equity, and access. By adopting a disaggregated and participatory approach, participants will learn how to identify and measure who is being left out, how power dynamics affect service delivery, and whether interventions are truly reaching the most marginalized populations. This ensures a more nuanced and accurate picture of impact.
This comprehensive program provides a practical, hands-on roadmap for designing and implementing M&E frameworks that are sensitive to the dynamics of inequality. Participants will gain skills in everything from conducting gender and social inclusion analysis to using mixed-methods research to capture the lived experiences of different groups. The course is a strategic investment for organizations seeking to enhance the fairness and effectiveness of their work, ensuring that their projects not only achieve their goals but also contribute to a more just and inclusive society.
