Respectful Evaluation: M&e In Remote Indigenous Contexts Training Course in Georgia

Traditional, Western-centric M&E models often fail to capture the unique knowledge systems, community values, and cultural protocols of remote indigenous populations. This can lead to inaccurate findings and a sense of disempowerment. This training course is designed to empower M&E professionals to master culturally-grounded and participatory approaches to monitoring and evaluation in remote indigenous contexts. By learning to decolonize M&E methodologies and co-create frameworks with community partners, participants will ensure that projects are not only effective but also honor local knowledge and contribute to self-determination.

This comprehensive program provides a practical, hands-on roadmap for ethically and effectively working with indigenous communities. Participants will gain skills in everything from conducting culturally sensitive interviews and using visual, narrative-based data collection tools to negotiating data ownership and communicating findings in a way that is meaningful to the community.
