Authentic Voices: Participatory Video For Impact Narratives In M&e Training Course in Sri Lanka

Traditional M&E reports often struggle to convey the human impact of a project, reducing complex stories to a series of statistics. This leaves a critical gap in communication and understanding. This training course is designed to empower M&E professionals to master participatory video methods, a powerful approach that places cameras directly into the hands of community members. By enabling participants to document their own experiences and articulate the changes in their own words, this methodology generates rich, authentic, and emotionally compelling evidence of a project's impact. This transforms M&E from a top-down reporting function into a tool for genuine co-creation and empowerment.

This comprehensive program provides a practical, hands-on roadmap for ethically and effectively using video as a tool for evaluation and learning. Participants will gain skills in everything from facilitating video workshops and ensuring data ownership to editing raw footage and integrating these visual narratives into traditional M&E reports. The course is a strategic investment for organizations committed to empowering the voices of those they serve, ensuring their work is a force for positive change in a world that needs it most.
