Anticipating Chaos: Crisis-evaluation Preparedness In M&e Training Course in El Salvador

In unpredictable and volatile environments, traditional M&E methods, which rely on stable baselines and long-term planning, often become irrelevant. The speed and scale of humanitarian crises demand a fundamentally different approach—one that prioritizes rapid, adaptive, and ethically sound data collection. This training course is designed to empower M&E professionals to master crisis-evaluation preparedness. By building the skills to anticipate shocks, design agile evaluation frameworks, and utilize real-time data from the outset, participants will ensure that critical aid and interventions are evidence-based and responsive to the rapidly changing needs of affected populations.

This comprehensive program provides a practical, hands-on roadmap for building an M&E system that is not only resilient but also an active tool for improving crisis response. Participants will gain skills in everything from conducting rapid needs assessments and applying mobile data collection tools in off-grid environments to ensuring the safety of data collectors and communicating findings under immense pressure.
